Dr Eddie Houshangi moved to CA in 2010. After graduating from vet school and receiving a master’s degree in preventive veterinary medicine from UC Davis, Dr. Houshangi resided in Orange County. He trained at one of the largest specialty hospitals in Orange County, as well as worked with one of the most well known veterinarians in all of US, Dr Ettinger. Furthermore, he worked 2 years in a private practice in Orange County, followed with another 3 years at Banfield Pet Hospital. He joined Sea Gate Veterinary Hospital in January 2017 and since then has been taking care of the lovely pets and their parents in beautiful Huntington Beach. With his extensive medical knowledge, Dr. Houshangi holds a strong interest and great experience in internal medicine and surgery. His Master’s degree is focused on preventive medicine. Not only does preventive medicine help prevent diseases in pets, but it creates healthier and happier clients with less expenses. Dr Houshangi treats dogs, cats, the majority of reptiles, and pocket pets (i.e. hamsters, guinea pigs, and rabbits). During his free time, Dr. Eddie enjoys watching TV, hiking, and spending time with his family.
